MITSUBISHI XPANDER AWARDED “MPV OF THE YEAR” FOR TWO CONSECUTIVE YEARS AT CAR AWARDS

On December 22, 2022, Mitsubishi Xpander was honored in the category of “MPV of the year” at the Car Awards 2022 held by VnExpress Newspaper. This is the second time in a row that the model won this award.

The Car Awards was an objective professional program that reflected the actual consumption behaviors of Vietnamese auto market consumers, at the same time, honored prominent products of the automotive industry. Participating models are required to pass more than 40 evaluation criteria classified into 7 groups, including exterior, interior, operation, convenience, drive assistance, safety technology and usage expense. Especially, criteria that affected purchasing decision such as operation ability, distributor system, maintenance fee, spare part cost, etc. were highly evaluated by the Jury. In addition, to select category winners, votes of customers, who own and use cars on a daily basis, are also essential.

With more than 67% of votes from VnExpress readers and the highest score from the Jury / Expert Council, Mitsubishi Xpander had been named for the second time in a row in the category “MPV of the year – 2022” convincingly.

The impressive sales volume indicated the popularity of Xpander as a family-friendly model in Vietnamese market. As recorded, over 72 thousand units had rolled around Vietnam since its official launch in 2018. In the period of 2019 – 2022, Xpander sales was always ranked first in the compact MPV segment as well as high rankings of top 10 of the best-selling cars.
