Mitsubishi Motors Vietnam Introduces The New Mitsubishi Triton Athlete
On November 22, 2021, Mitsubishi Motors Vietnam officially introduces the Mitsubishi Triton Athlete model, including 2 versions of Triton Athlete 4×4 AT and Triton Athlete 4×2 AT. The two newly upgraded will replace 2 current versions of Triton AT Premium. Possessing a dynamic design, outstanding interior, flexible and durable operation, Triton Athlete is ready to accompany customers to conquer every journey.
The two versions of Triton Athlete have a robust and sporty appearance, now even more powerful thanks to special, black-coated accessories such as front bumper, grille, door mirrors, alloy wheels, fenders, sporty styling bar and genuine sporty graphic design side stripe tape.
The car interior stands out with two contrasting tones of orange and black, which is bold enough to showcase the owner’s personality. In addition, the proven strengths of the famous Super Select engine and transmission system, together with a rear differential lock, continue to show the sporty, strong and flexible spirit of Triton Athlete.
With stylish and break-the-rules design, Mitsubishi Triton Athlete is the right choice for customers who are looking for a pickup model that is both highly applicable in daily life and suitable for exploration trips.
Strong and bold appearance with sportive accessories
The stylish appearance of the Mitsubishi Triton Athlete is clearly shown through the upgrades in equipment and accessories combined with the modern Dynamic Shield design to create a strong, powerful and consistent look. The model accessories, such as grille and front bumper, door mirrors, fenders, 18-inch alloy wheels and sporty styling bar are all coated in sharp black paint, completing the sporty style of Triton Athlete.
The design of the car stamp extends to the rear of the car and the words “Triton Athlete” are sharply shaped with contrasting tones, making the car’s appearance impressive and outstanding.
Outstanding two-tone interior
In harmonization with the car’s exterior appearance, the interior compartment of the Mitsubishi Triton Athlete is dominated by two main tones – orange and black, which are sophisticated but daring. The lively space is ready to bring excitement to users on every journey thanks to accents from the orange stitching on the gear lever and door panels and the stylized details of the floor mat.
All two rows of seats on the car are covered with high-quality orange and black leather. Particularly, the rear seats have a 25° recline, following the J-line design and the largest legroom in the segment of up to 1,745mm will help the rear passengers always feel comfortable, especially on long trips. The airflow-adjustable rear air-conditioning vent is a unique feature which is only available on the two versions of Triton Athlete.
Durable and flexible operation
To match with the powerful and sporty appearance, Triton Athlete comes with a 2.4L MIVEC Diesel engine equipped with an electronically controlled variable valve to increase power, save fuel and minimize noise. The 6-speed automatic transmission and gearshift paddles on the steering wheel play an important part in bringing excitement to users while driving.

4.2 Rights and options regarding to direct marketing
